And I was reminded of “Nimbonichya zadamage…”, a very popular angaai or lullaby from the Marathi film Bala gau kashi angaai. One of the things we spoke about was the angaai (the Marathi word for a lullaby). We had a lovely time together - saw a movie, shopped for some “college wear” clothes for her, ate ice cream and donuts, watched silly TV serials and laughed ourselves sillier … We also talked a lot about everything and nothing in particular. ![]() This stay was very significant as she begins college next week and won’t be able to spend time with us for some time. My niece spent a few days with us last week. This becomes my “now’”song, and the “nowness” (pardon my English here) could be for any length of time. ![]() Do you ever have a song, an idea, a storyline, or an image stuck in your head?
